About
The Association of Canadian Archivists Foundation (ACAF) was created and federally incorporated by the Association of Canadian Archivists (ACA) in June 2006 for the purpose of fundraising to support the educational and research needs of the Canadian archival profession. The ACAF administers and fundraises for the ACAF Scholarship Endowment Fund. Set up in 2010, the fund produces a long-term income stream for the provision of scholarships, bursaries, and other forms of financial assistance to post-secondary students, graduates and professionals to be used for education and training in the fields of archival sciences, record keeping and information management. The ACAF received a Certificate of Continuance under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (CNCA) in 2012.
