Location: Blenheim, ON
Compensation: $36000-50000

Description and Duties   

  • Receive, sort, scan, label, and redact history files
  • Prepare physical history files to be viewed at auction
  • Assist Senior Research Archivist with library and archive projects as required
  • Other duties assigned by Senior Research Archivist

Qualifications   

  • Be organized with very strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage large amounts of information in physical and digital format
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize workload to successfully meet competing deadlines
  • MLIS degree (or equivalent) considered an asset but not mandatory
  • Car knowledge not mandatory but considered a plus (we will teach you!)
  • Able to work in the office everyday based in Blenheim, Ontario - this is not a remote position
  • Able to lift 35lbs, stand for long periods of time, comfortable with repeated wrist movement

Additional Information   

  • This is an in-office position.
  • A love of history and organization will help the successful candidate.
  • Above all else, a strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes is required!
